The biological vessel that carries me through this life was taken by another, used for their pleasure, and returned to me in a state I didn't recognize.
What can I say about this fantastic book when I'm left speechless? She had the strength to write about her sexual abuse traumas and is a freaking warrior! Everyone should read this book, whether you've been through abuse. I could relate to some of her struggles and trials about people not believing her. I too have been abused as a child. But not sexually.
We need more voices like hers in the world. I have this pendant that says "Empowered Women Empower Women". And that rings true for this book, this author. I feel empowered to speak up. #helpendabuse
Ten out of five stars. Highly recommend.
