"Forest of Piano"

A Netflix original anime TV show, Forest of Piano is a lighthearted tale of a boy named Kai Ichinose who lives in a crappy environment but rises to fame. He taught himself to play through the mysterious piano in his backyard forest at a young age. He befriends another young boy named Shuhei Amamiya who is being bullied by the other kids. Kai then shows his new friend the forest of piano.

Shuhei tries to play it but finds he cannot produce any sound. Kai then moves him aside and plays a lilting melody. Shuhei notices the letting on the side. S. Ajino.

He instantly recognizes the name from a very famous world-renowned pianist who also happens to be their music teacher. Sheuhei's father approaches the music teacher asking him to tutor his son privately. Ajino declines.

But then Shuhei tells him about his friend Kai practices and where he practices every night.

Ajino goes into the forest only to discover the boy playing the piano has a rare gift. One that comes from the soul.

Not only that, but the piano Kai is playing once belonged to Ajino. Ajino takes Kai on as his pupil. And I won't say anything more because it's a show worth watching for yourself. The classical music heard in this show is quite brilliant, soothing, tranquil, and reminds one of how much we take these compositions for granted.
