"Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventures"

A Chinese original Netflix TV show comprising of about 6 episodes. Despite its lighthearted name, the show does contain suicide attempts. It begins with a spoiled princess named Zhaouhua who treats everyone with disrespect and frankly is a downright witch. When the handsome prince Chaoyong breaks off the engagement, Zhaouhua enlists a eunuch's help known as Fuk’anggan who also has his own agenda.
Filled with secrets, betrayal, and incredible scenery inside of the ancient Forbidden City, Yanxi Palace is an incredible story! The costumes, hair, and colors had me captivated. Each episode was like waiting to see how it would end.
The acting was amazing! I loved every minute of the show and it was much better than another Chinese show I watched called Ghost Bride which felt...unbelievable to a certain f word and the way they talked...too modern. Anyway, I highly recommend Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventures for anyone who loves good, strong, storylines.
